Last summer I decided to pick up golf and had trouble nailing down a successful technique for swinging my club, I had been going to Bathurst Glen driving range about 3-4 times a week for a month and I just wasn’t getting where I wanted to be. I saw that the range was affiliated with David Fritz and decided to give it a try. I have to say that I am extremely happy with the results I’ve gotten. I chose G (Gianfranco Guida) to instruct me. His description on the website seemed like he had the skills to help me get where I wanted to go and he turned out to be a great golfer and an amazing teacher. I think it was only after 3 lessons with G that I felt ready to play a round of golf and did so way less painfully than you might think. I spent most of the summer learning from him and I took a lot of what I learned with me to practice over the winter and I feel so much more confident than I would ever have without taking the lessons. For anyone thinking about picking up golf I definitely suggest at least a few lessons and if you took them with G at David Fritz’s you will not be disappointed! Also I will add that David is super nice and accommodating as far as answering questions and concerns I’ve had and G is a super cool guy. Can’t wait to take more lessons, honestly!

Working with Gianfranco has really helped me improve my swing and my short game around the greens. I remember that I was not very consistent less than 50 yards out, and Gianfranco’s tips with how I position my feet and maintain my balance through my swing has made me more confident that I can find the shot I am looking for at that range. He explains things very well and I was able to improve quite a bit.

Gianfranco helped channel my best driver swing possible. He explained the importance of aligning my feet, shoulders, hips, and head. He helped me understand the importance of all facets of the game. Beyond my actual swing, he taught me new ways to look at the sport and some of the tricks that are behind being successful (mentality/ knowing your lies and limitations).

I’ve been swinging a golf club for almost 20 years and last spring I started working with Hap Gill. I can honestly say since having him be my instrutor- that I feel like I’m playing golf with confidence and control! In a few lessons he shaved more than 10 strokes off my game by immediately recognizing some simple mistakes I was making and correcting them. Now every time I swing I follow it with a, “Wow!”

I would strongly recommend Hap Gill to any golfer, from a beginner even up to those who already play well but who still want to get better technically and be more consistent. I now hit the ball further with less effort, and have developed a solid short game.

Hap is a great coach and I highly recommend him. Before I met Hap I had decades of bad habits and I was drowning in YouTube videos. Hap used his background in biomechanics to teach me not only how to swing but why those swing changes worked.

Hap is relatable, fun and a great cheerleader. In a relatively short time He has helped me pass my original golf goals. Working with Hap has been the best investment I’ve ever made in my golf game.
