The David Fritz Golf Academy is pleased to offer a new and exciting experience for kids with our Golf & Outdoor Recreation Camp. This camp will be held at the beautiful Bruce's Mill Conservation Park in Stouffville, Ontario. The camp has partnered with Treetop Trekking, Stouffville BMX and the Toronto Region and Conservation Authority to offer a half day of golf skill development and a half day of outdoor activities. Teambuilding & GPS Rally
This half day session filled with Group Dynamic games will be a great way for campers to break the ice and get to know each at the beginning of the week. Following Group Dynamics campers will compete in a GPS Rally.

Nature Hike & Survival Challenge
This half day would be split up between a custom nature hike using the hiking trails at Bruce's Mill C.A. and a survivor challenge. Educational components would focus on tree identification or other nature related topics. Following this, the group would participate in team building programs like a Survival Challenge where they will learn some basic skills to survive in the wild, in a fun and interactive way.

Towards the end of the week the campers will take part in some of our exciting forest adventures.

FAQ's
What Time Does Camp Start & End?
Children will meet at the Bruce's Mill Conservation Park at 9:00 am each day and pick up 4:00 pm. Drop off will be at the Driving Range, Pick up will be at the Main Chalet
Is this Camp appropriate for a Beginner or Intermediate?
Our Golf & Activity Camp is great for novice to beginner golfers.
Should I Bring Clubs To Camp?
Clubs are available to use if needed and will be provided on a daily basis. If you do have clubs we suggest that you bring them. We offer a club fitting service for each camper during the week.
What Happens if it Rains?
The Camp runs rain or shine. We will monitor the weather on a daily basis and provide programming accordingly. In a light rain we may continue with outdoor activities (bring a rain jacket) but if the weather is inclement we have created programming for indoors. (Leadership Skills, Trivia, Golf Movies, Indoor Putting Tourney etc.)
Can my child be in the Same Group as their friend or sibling?
We try to accommodate all requests. Please let us know upon sign up any group requests.

David is the Director of Instruction and will set the curriculum, direct the activities, hire and train camp staff.
He has been a PGA of Canada Professional for over twenty years. Throughout the various stages of his career, he has gained progressive experience at some of the finest golf clubs in the Greater Toronto Area. He has had the opportunity to work with world-class golf professionals, top coaches and instructors.
Throughout this time, David has maintained a Board of Director’s position with the Canadian Junior Golf Association. He has played an integral role in the development of junior golf in Canada through developmental programs, regional, national and international events.
David is a highly regarded coach and teacher. Through his training and experiences David brings a wealth of knowledge to his students. He is able to communicate that knowledge in a simplistic manner and assist students achieve their goals.
It is quite apparent that David loves teaching golf and seeing his students successes. He is committed to providing a positive learning environment and experience for all students while improving all aspects of their game. Students will welcome David’s warm personality and passion for the game of golf.
