Elite Junior Camp

The Elite Camp was designed for juniors who have acquired strong fundamentals and are looking to take the game more seriously, with the goal of eventually playing at a competitive level. Juniors wishing to register must be assessed by academy coaches to determine eligibility.

This program is intentionally limited in size to ensure each participant receives the individual attention needed to develop their skills.

Juniors will play golf on the course each day and train under the guidance of our academy coaches. This camp is an excellent opportunity for juniors to challenge themselves and continue their development as golfers.

Camp Objectives

• Improve all aspects of the game
• Engrain repeatable swing and performance patterns
• Learn how to practice effectively with purpose
• Develop a clear plan for overall improvement
• Apply learned skills on the golf course

Note: Elite Golf Camp includes lunch each day. Campers should still bring morning and afternoon snacks.

FAQs

What time does camp start and end?

Campers will meet at the
Bathurst Glen Golf Course
clubhouse at 9:00 am each day and will be picked up at 4:00 pm at the driving range.

Should my child bring clubs to camp?

If a child does not have clubs at this stage of their development, we recommend one of our other camps.
We offer a club fitting service during the week and place orders through Cobra and USKids.

What happens if it rains?

Camp runs rain or shine. Weather is monitored daily and programming will be adjusted accordingly.
Light rain may still involve outdoor activities, so please bring a rain jacket.
In the case of inclement weather, indoor programming will be provided, including leadership skills and trivia.

Can my child be in the same group as a friend or sibling?

Elite Camp is run as a single small group. All campers train and play together throughout the week.

What should children bring to camp?

• Sunscreen

• Golf clubs (provided if needed)
• Golf balls and tees for afternoon golf
• Labelled clothing and equipment
• Comfortable shoes

David Fritz is the Director of Instruction at Bathurst Glen Golf Course and oversees the camp curriculum, daily activities, and staff training.

David has been a PGA of Canada Professional for over 30 years. He is a two-time US Kids World Champion Coach, and his students have won over
100 tournaments internationally.

Throughout his career, David has worked at some of the finest golf clubs in the Greater Toronto Area and alongside world-class professionals, coaches, and instructors.
He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Junior Golf Association, playing a key role in the development of junior golf in Canada.

David is known for his ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple, effective manner.
His passion for teaching and commitment to creating a positive learning environment ensures an outstanding experience for every student.
