Congratulations to Eddie Gu
US Kids Golf Foundation World Champion, Boys 9 Division
The David Fritz Golf Academy would like to congratulate Eddie Gu of Aurora, ON for winning the U.S. Kids Golf Foundation World Championships (Boys 9 Division).
Eddie started training with our academy when he was just 5 1⁄2 years old. With the help of Academy Director of Instruction, David Fritz, as well as his father, Eddie developed a remarkable skill and passion for the game. He began playing in the Canadian Junior Golf Association events and US Kids Golf Events at the age of 6 1⁄2. Since then, Eddie has continued to develop and progress as a strong junior presence by winning many of the tournaments he competes in. Eddie is currently a member at the Station Creek Golf Club in Stouffville, and trains with his coach David Fritz out of the Diamondback Golf Club in Richmond Hill, both of which are Clublink properties.
Eddie won the US Kids World Golf Championship by shooting scores of 70, 67, and 70, and won with a birdie on the first playoff hole.

In addition to his US Kids World Championship win, his list of current accomplishments includes: CJGA Canadian National Champion, and US Kids Golf Red, White and Blue Champion.
